さて、一般社団法人アジア女性リーダーズフォーラム（Asia Women Leaders Forum）は、2020年5月の設立以来、数多くの皆様の温かいご支援に支えられ、2025年5月に創立6周年を迎えることとなります。これまでの歩みを支えていただきました皆様には、深く感謝申し上げます。
私たちは、2030年までにアジアの産学官民の女性リーダー1000人が国境、世代、業種を超えて繋がり、美しいアジアの実現に向けて共創できるプラットフォームの構築を目指しております。その一環として、2024年5月15日には、アジア20カ国、140名の参加者を国連ESCAPの場にお迎えし、国際会議を成功裏に開催することができました。
このたび、昨年の国連サミットの報告会と次回のサミットに向けた展望を共有する場として、そしてインドの経済界トップリーダーであり慈善活動家であるSatish Modi氏の著書 In Love with Death の日本語翻訳出版を記念する会を兼ねたAWLF交友会を、下記の通り開催いたします。
本会では、国境・世代・業種を超え、「In Love with Death」のテーマに基づき、語り合う場も提供したいと存じます。参加されるリーダーの皆様方との相互理解を深め、優しいご縁が広がることを願い、美しいアジアの未来を共創するきっかけとなれば幸いです。

It is with great pleasure that we announce the 6th anniversary of the Asia Women Leaders Forum (AWLF), which will be celebrated in May 2025. Since its establishment in May 2020, AWLF has thrived due to the unwavering support and encouragement from esteemed individuals like yourself. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude for your continued support.
AWLF is dedicated to connecting 1,000 female leaders across borders, generations, and industries throughout Asia by 2030. Our mission is to foster collaborative efforts to build a beautiful and sustainable future for the region. As part of this commitment, we were honored to successfully host an international summit at the United Nations ESCAP in May 2024, bringing together 140 participants from 20 countries across Asia.
In celebration of this significant milestone, we are pleased to invite you to the AWLF Event, which will also serve as a commemoration of the Japanese translation of the book” In Love with Death” by Mr. Satish Modi.
Mr. Modi is a distinguished business leader, philanthropist, and visionary from India.

モディ・グローバル・エンタープライズの会長を務め、インドおよび世界で重要な影響力を持つファミリービジネスの一員として活躍している。インドの工業都市モディナガルの発展に尽力し、この都市は彼の父である故ライ・バハドゥール・グジャール・マル・モディ氏によって創設され、現在50万人以上が暮らしている。
また、芸術・文化の振興にも情熱を注ぎ、インド初の民間航空会社「ModiLuft」をルフトハンザと共同で設立。その後、同社は「SpiceJet」として再出発を果たした。さらに、インド初のオフショア投資信託「J.P.モルガン・インディア・ファンド」を創設し、2021年まで会長を務めた。現在は、次世代ファンド「THE MODI INDIA FUND」を立ち上げ、インドの金融業界への貢献を続けている。
2000年には国際美術学院（IIFA）を設立し、芸術とクリエイティブ・デザイン分野において質の高い教育を提供。また、慈善活動や教育支援にも積極的に関わり、モディナガルにラーダー・クリシュナ寺院を建立した。
その功績が認められ、CGPIより慈善事業修士号を授与され、イギリスでは慈善大使に任命されるなど、多くの賞や栄誉を受賞している。
Satish Modi is the Chairman of Modi Global Enterprises and a prominent figure in one of India’s most influential family businesses, with a significant impact both in India and globally. He has dedicated his efforts to the development of Modinagar, an industrial city in India founded by his late father, Rai Bahadur Gujar Mal Modi, which is home to over 500,000 residents.
Passionate about promoting arts and culture, Satish Modi played a pivotal role in founding ModiLuft, India’s first private airline, in collaboration with Lufthansa, which later rebranded as SpiceJet. He also founded the J.P. Morgan India Fund, India’s first offshore investment fund, and served as its Chairman until 2021. His commitment to India’s financial sector continues through the launch of THE MODI INDIA FUND, a next-generation fund.
Satish Modi founded the International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA), providing high-quality education in arts and creative design. He is also deeply involved in charitable and educational initiatives and has created the Radha Krishna Temple in Modinagar.
He has received numerous accolades, including a Master’s in Charitable Work from CGPI and was named Ambassador of Philanthropy in UK.

城内 実 氏は、日本の政治をリードし続ける国会議員であり、現在、衆議院議員および経済安全保障担当大臣を務めておられます。また、内閣府特命担当大臣として、クールジャパン戦略、知的財産戦略、科学技術政策、宇宙政策、経済安全保障の各分野を統括し、日本の競争力強化と持続可能な発展に尽力されています。
東京大学教養学部国際関係論分科を卒業後、外務省に入省し、在ドイツ日本国大使館勤務を経て、天皇陛下や総理大臣のドイツ語通訳官を歴任。その後、外務省を退官し、2003年に衆議院議員に初当選。以来、外務副大臣、環境副大臣、衆議院外務委員会委員長、自民党政務調査会副会長など、外交・安全保障・経済政策を中心に多くの重要な役職を歴任されました。
2024年10月より経済安全保障担当大臣として、日本の技術・産業の発展を支えながら、安全保障政策を推進。経済外交、イノベーション、戦略的政策の分野で日本の未来を形作るリーダーシップを発揮されています。

The Honorable Minoru Kiuchi is a distinguished Japanese politician who has dedicated his career to national and international policy-making. He currently serves as a Member of the House of Representatives and as the Minister for Economic Security. Additionally, he holds the role of Minister of State, overseeing Cool Japan Strategy, Intellectual Property Strategy, Science and Technology Policy, Space Policy, and Economic Security, playing a key role in strengthening Japan’s global competitiveness.
A graduate of the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Liberal Arts, Department of International Relations, Minister Kiuchi joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was posted to the Japanese Embassy in Germany. He later served as a German interpreter for His Majesty the Emperor and the Prime Minister of Japan. After leaving the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2003. Since then, he has served multiple terms, holding key positions such as Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Vice Minister for the Environment, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives, and Deputy Chair of the Liberal Democratic Party’s Policy Research Council.
Since October 2024, Minister Kiuchi has been at the forefront of Japan’s economic security initiatives, ensuring the nation’s technological and industrial advancement while safeguarding national interests. His leadership in economic diplomacy, innovation, and strategic policies continues to shape Japan’s future in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

ブリュノ・コーエン氏は、医療イノベーションと倫理の分野で卓越したリーダーです。
ガリエン財団（The Galien Foundation）の会長として、科学研究の支援とライフサイエンス分野における革新的な功績の顕彰に尽力しています。同財団は、バイオ医薬品研究の最前線にいる革新者や人道主義者が集う国際的なプラットフォームとして、人類の健康の向上に貢献しています。
コーエン氏は、1988年から2018年の30年間にわたり、ヘルス・コミュニケーション・グループ（Health Communications Group, Regimedia）の会長を務め、1994年には世界初の遠隔心拍モニタリングシステムを導入し、遠隔医療（テレメディシン）の先駆者としての役割を果たしました。

Bruno Cohen is a distinguished leader in healthcare innovation and ethics.
The Foundation serves as a global platform uniting innovators and humanitarians at the forefront of biomedical research to advance human health.
For 30 years (1988–2018), Mr. Cohen was Chairman of Health Communications Group, Regimedia, where he pioneered telemedicine, introducing the world’s first remote heart rate monitoring system in 1994.
Since 1999, he has been instrumental in expanding the influence of the Prix Galien, an award regarded as the equivalent of the Nobel Prize in the life sciences industry.
With the support of the late Elie Wiesel, 1986 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Mr. Cohen has strengthened the Foundation’s commitment to advancing access to healthcare and shaping public health policies worldwide.
In 2019, he founded the Jerusalem Ethics Forum, a platform bringing together thought leaders to address the ethical challenges of the 21st century with a universal, humanistic approach. A key focus of the Forum is improving healthcare access for highly marginalized populations.
For his contributions to healthcare and ethics, Mr. Cohen has been honored as an Officier de l’Ordre de la Légion d’Honneur (Officer of the Legion of Honor) by the French Republic.

マヤ・ソエトロ氏は、ハワイ大学マノア校にあるスパーク・M・マツナガ平和紛争解決研究所の教員スペシャリストとして、平和教育、紛争解決、社会変革のためのリーダーシップに関する講義を行っています。
また、オバマ財団のアジア太平洋リーダープログラムの開発にも携わり、次世代リーダーの育成に尽力しています。
彼女はインドネシア・ジャカルタで生まれ、ハワイとニューヨークで学び、教育学の博士号を取得。生涯を通じて、文化を超えた対話の促進、平和構築、グローバル市民意識の向上に取り組んできました。さらに、児童書『月へのはしご』を執筆し、物語を通じて共感と平和の大切さを伝えています。

Maya Soetoro is a Faculty Specialist at the Spark M. Matsunaga Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, where she teaches courses on peace education, conflict resolution, and leadership for social change.
She also serves as a consultant for the Obama Foundation’s Asia-Pacific Leaders Program, helping to develop initiatives that empower emerging leaders in the region.
Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, and raised in Hawai‘i and New York, she holds a doctorate in education and has dedicated her career to fostering cross-cultural dialogue, peacebuilding, and global citizenship.
She is also the author of the children’s book Ladder to the Moon, which beautifully conveys the importance of empathy and peace.
As an educator, author, and advocate for peace, Maya Soetoro continues to inspire individuals and communities worldwide.

マリオ・マラッツィーティ博士は、人権擁護者、ジャーナリスト、作家、慈善家であり、イタリア議会では人権委員会および福祉・健康委員会の委員長を務められました。
彼の人生は、国際的な平和構築や宗教間・エキュメニカル対話と深く結びついています。特に、EU加盟国と協力して難民や亡命希望者の安全な移住を支援する「人道回廊プログラム」の主要な推進者として、多くの人々に合法的な避難の道を提供しています。
ローマで生まれ、哲学、社会科学、歴史や神学を学ばれたマラッツィーティ博士は、教師やイタリア公共放送局RAIのテレビ番組制作者・マネージャーとして活躍されました。また、全国紙への寄稿やイタリア議会での活動を通じて、ニューヨークやジュネーブの国連でイタリアを代表するなど、多岐にわたる分野で貢献されています。
さらに、サティシュ・モディ氏と共に「インナー・ハピネス財団」をローマに設立されました。この財団は、サティシュ・モディ氏の著書『死を愛する』のメッセージを基に、人々が内なる幸福を見つけ、死への恐れを克服し、善意、愛、思いやりに満ちた充実した人生を送ることを支援しています。また、個人やコミュニティが外部の環境や物質的な豊かさに左右されないインナーハピネスが、最終的には普遍的な愛、平和、調和に寄与することを目指しています。

Dr. Mario Marazziti is a human rights advocate, a journalist, a writer, a philanthropist, a man who served in the Italian parliament as Human Rights Committee and as Welfare and Health Commission President. His name and life coincide with the international work of peace-making, inter-faith and ecumenical dialogue. He is among the main actors of the Humanitarian Corridors program, which, in agreement with member states of the EU, provides legal and safe immigration of asylum seekers and refugees in Europe.
Born in Rome, with studies in philosophy, social sciences, history and theology, he has been a teacher, a television author and manager for RAI, the Italian public broadcasting company, writes for national newspapers, has served in the Italian Parliament and represented Italy at the UN in New York and Geneva.
Dr. Marazziti co-founded the Inner Happiness Foundation along with Satish Modi. Headquartered in Rome, the Inner Happiness Foundation was created to bring inner happiness to people, enable them to overcome the fear of dying, and enable them to live meaningful lives of goodness, love and compassion. Drawing on the messages of Satish Modi's book, ‘In Love with Death,’ the Foundation hopes to help people around the world appreciate the world they live in and encourage them to make the most of their lives. Inner happiness in individuals and communities will ultimately contribute to universal love, peace and harmony.
Dr. Marazziti is the recipient of the prestigious Dayawati Modi Award for Art, Culture and Education 2024.

多くの著書・編集本・翻訳があり、最近では、対話の重要性についても語っている『若い人のための１０冊の本』（筑摩書房、プリマー新書 2019年12月）、最近著では『日常非常、迷宮の時代ーーオペラ戦後文化論（Ⅱ）1970-1995』（未来社、2020年9月）などを出版しています。

He specializes in representational culture theory and contemporary philosophy. He has been critically active in a wide range of fields from philosophy to art, literature, architecture, and fashion.
He has been the director of UTCP (University of Tokyo Center for Philosophy) for more than ten years, and has conducted various collaborative research projects with researchers from around the world based there.
